Solar Basics
FosRich Energy is your supplier of choice for sales and installation of Solar Power Systems
What is a PV Panel
A PV Panel or more commonly know a solar panel takes the Sun’s energy in and gives electrical energy out. Current depends on the amount of Solar radiation available. Size of panels helps determine how fast systems recharge, and how much demand the system can supply in extreme conditions.
Controller Batteries also like a steady constant charge. The controller monitors the battery health while charging and discharging which helps prevent premature battery failure. It’s the link between the Solar panel and the batteries.
Batteries Batteries store the charge for later use. Just like in the cell phone, but bigger. They group up to create a bank of charge for your demand. Made more robust than your car’s battery for, repeated charging and discharging.
Inverter The heart of the Solar System. This device takes in your battery electricity, and puts out your appliance electricity. It converts 12/24/48Volts battery current to 120/240Volts “house current.”
